Dearest Sister, we travel both sides of the same path & I am so blessed to be your companion!
I have been stuck in my grief for my dog Max who passed 4 yrs and 4 months ago. Yes, I count the years, months and days. He is my soulmate and my heart dog. I just want him back. Praying for him to reincarnate and come back to me in this lifetime. When he died I wanted to die myself. I have 8 other dogs that kept me going through my grief but they witnessed my grief and depression. Since Max passed I lost 6 other babies. It never gets easy. I do rescue and take in the worst of the worst who can’t be adopted. Many have behavioral issues and some medical issues. Although I am grateful for every minute I have with them I don’t want to see them pass. I am always with them when they pass. I want my face to be the last one they see and know that my arms are holding them. I always make it a peaceful transition with their brothers and sisters around them.

Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom today. We lost our girl, Lilly, in September rather suddenly and while I was with her and could not have asked for a more beautiful crossing, I miss her terribly. Listening to you today made me realize I am stuck and have created that bubble, if you will, that you talked about with your Ebony! I look forward to reaching out and learning more from you.
Another terrific talk about transitioning! So thankful for your points of understanding and sharing. Having just loss my beloved Nicky, your support and Kind words aided me in knowing his passing was as it should be. Seeing him run around in Heaven with a fully freed soul showed me how important the process of transition is. Knowing that I got it right for him makes my heart fill with love and joy!
