    Look at criticism as a gift. Look for what could be true in it. If there is something, can you learn from it and change it? Thank them. If they meant it to help you, they will appreciate your thanking them. If they meant it to hurt you, they won’t likely do it again, since it didn’t work.

    I’ve kept a note pad on the nightstand for decades so I can write down things so I can go to sleep and know I don’t have to remember them. I also for years have kept a small recorder in my car so I can tell myself reminders. Didn’t know it was called a brain dump. Thanks for giving it a title for me.
